Our design work is highly regarded and it is recommended that you ring and make an appointment to avoid disappointment. At an appointment staff will sit down with you, discuss your ideas, make suggestions and make a time to come back and view either sketches or models. This process is completely obligation free and free of charge.

For an average cost of $250.00 you may keep the designs and model if you wish. This cost is deducted from the final cost of the jewellery if you decide to go ahead and have your piece made.

A Village Goldsmith diamond ring comes with a 5 year guarantee on the craftmanship and a lifetime free checking and cleaning service. This service is provided while you wait by experienced jewellers on site and should be done on an annual basis. The Village Goldsmith will also give you a free cleaning kit to help you maintain your precious piece between our cleans. This kit containing cleaning solution, cloth and instructions is packaged in

a very stylish black zip pouch. This Village Goldsmith cleaning kit can also be purchased as a separate item if you wish, a superb treat for you or a friend.

The Village Goldsmith will provide you with Certificate of Authenticity document for all diamond rings manufactured on site. We use the highly respected jewellery valuation firm of Gemlab Jewellery Valuers (Auckland) to independently value our jewellery when an independent valuation is required.

Mike Henry Insurance is the insurance company we recommend to insure your jewellery and we have the ability to provide you with a comprehensive insurance policy with them before you leave the shop if you wish.

Tax free jewellery purchases are becoming increasingly popular, The Village Goldsmith can arrange a tax free jewellery purchase if you are travelling or you are an overseas visitor to New Zealand.

E-mail communication with our customers is becoming a real growth area for The Village Goldsmith. Designs, pictures of models and stones can be sent to you. Just because you live out of Wellington doesn't mean you have to stop dealing with your favourite jewellery store.
